Our club received a certificate of appreciation from Dionisios Boulieris, Principal at Safety Harbor Middle School, for partnering with them on their Seahawks Awards. Here’s a quick recap of just some of our club's ongoing school program accomplishments.

This past school year Kiwanis honored a total of 12 students at Safety Harbor Middle School at their monthly Seahawks awards ceremonies.

For the elementary school programs we recognized a total of 41 students from Eisenhower Elementary, Leila Davis Elementary, McMullen Booth Elementary, Safety Harbor Elementary and Chi Chi Rodriquez Academy at our monthly Kiwanis Student of the Month awards breakfast ceremonies.

None of this could be done without the supervision and dedication of our past president Elaine Hawkins and current president Dan Marignoni and board member Janine Brown. Thank you for making these student programs so special for the recipients, their families and teachers. ... See MoreSee Less

Kiwanis Club of Safety Harbor is with Dan Marignoni.

Toymakers of East Lake put a call out for volunteers to deliver their hand-made wooden toys and some of our club members jumped at the chance to help out. We headed to three locations in Tampa – Rosa Valdez Child Care Center, USF Health Pediatrics and USF Health South Tampa Center for Advanced Healthcare – with boxes packed with 700 wooden toys and bags of hand-made dolls. It was a great day! Our 3rd annual Run for the Roses... Walk 4 the Kids was a hit. We raised money for our youth programs and enjoyed a beautiful walk along the bay on Saturday. A special thank you to the all members, their spouses and friends.
